[November 2017] Magadi, Lake Ellis, Olomanyani Bush Camp, 4WD Course

In Mapuoto Mozambique, I did a 13km run from my hotel, along the beach and through downtown -beautiful!

Another trip to Ellis. We had quite the adventure getting both up and down with 4 cars. We ended up leaving one at 11,000 feet for a week until we could get it out again.

[October 2017] For our October break, we spent a week on the beach in Zanzibar with Tom and Amreen.

[August 2017] After two months traveling around southern Africa, I met my sister and nephew (Kristen and Murphy) back in Kenya and we headed off for another week of traveling in the Mara, Aberdares and Naivasha. It was great to have them around!

Camping at 11,000 feet at Lake Ellis on the side of Mt Kenya – it’s a fantastic 4WD adventure to get to this remote lake.

Staying with friends at Ole Tika (sp?), cottages on Lake Naivasha, a nice weekend get away.

Wednesday afternoons always start with a bike ride or run and conclude at our favorite local pub (Freetown) in Loresho.

10-4 Mountain Bike Race on the side of Mt Kenya- the race starts at 10,000 feet and ends at 4000 feet.

We had good views of the normally shy Mt Kenya on this year’s 10-4.
